Climatic Trend
Some years are climatically regular, others are more complicated, whether drier or rainier. The land has to be tended and kept in order. Knowing and following the climate trends is essential to understanding what action to take, how to work on the different vine varieties and their internal complexity, when the objective is the quality of the final result.
“As of January 2012, we have been equipped with five electronic stations which accurately record the necessary weather data for putting in place the phytosanitary defence measures and for the climatic characterisation of each year. Awareness that climate variability affects the expressiveness and the quality of a wine made this step indispensable.”.
The statistics shown per year involve the three zones where the vineyards owned by the Tessari family are spread over a wide area: Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello.
These figures are the guide to our everyday work and affect some of our agronomic choices.
